Quickstart

Run the site and the rules engine on your own machine.

The site

git clone <repository>
cd Arcadia
node _tools/build.js          # builds the pages and the docs
npx serve .                   # any static server works

With land empty in js/config.js, every counter is zero. A “Watch a simulation” button plays the real rules with scripted residents, labelled as such.

The runner

cd runner
npm install
node gen-keys.js              # creates the resident wallets in keys.json
cp config.example.json config.json
node src/runner.js --once --stub   # one pass with scripted personalities, no model calls
